Working Packages

Working Package 1: September 1st, 2008 – October 31st, 2008

• Announcement of the project and launch of an web site (agripass-online.de)
• Implementation of a project advisory board (first meeting)
• Development of a time and working schedule

Working Package 2: November 1st, 2009 – February 28th, 2009

• Organisation of four regional seminars (10 participants each) to gain and gather information about the different vocational training systems (in animal husbandry) and actual practice in agricultural training, and to inform stakeholders about the concept of «Agripass» and the «directory of farming jobs»:
  • North (Participants from Denmark and Germany)
  • West (Participants from Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany)
  • East (Participants from Bulgaria, Poland, and Germany)
  • South (Participants from France and Germany)

Working Package 3: March 1st, 2009 – July 31st, 2009

• Evaluation of the regional seminars (in particular on the aspects of possibly necessary additional qualifications for the adjustment of qualification levels and conditions of implementation)
• Development of a questionnaire for the workshop with experts (cf. working package IV)

Working Package 4: August 1st, 2009 – November 30th, 2009

• Expert workshop: Development of a recommendations for organisations of the national training systems and the European social partners in the agricultural sector (participants: European experts in agricultural occupational training)

Working Package 5: December 1st, 2009 – May 31st, 2010

• Practical test: Comparison of the qualifications described in the “register of agricultural occupations” with the actually existing competences (tested through three practical seminars in countries where pig breeding is of high importance)
  (participants: workers of the concerned countries together with respective national companies)
• Meeting of the project advisory board (summary of the results)

Working Package 6: June 1st, 2010 – July 31st, 2010

• Concluding conference: Presentation and discussion of achieved results (participants: experts, representatives of agricultural occupational training organisations, interested stakeholders)

Working Package 7: August 1st, 2010 - August 31st, 2010

• Project completion: Reports on the results; Recommendations for further action (in German, French, and English); Handbook (Presentation of the most important project findings until November 30th, 2010 in German, French, and English)
